On 6th of November, Msgr Rev Fr Maxim Noronha came to Kinnigoli church as a parochial administrator. Fr William Dsouza Assistant parish priest, Fr Lancy Saldanha Principal, Sr. Premalatha BS superior, Mrs Shaila Sequeira Vice President and Mr Vincent Mathias Secretary were present for welcoming him. Fr. William led the prayer. On 7th November after the first mass once again we welcomed him on behalf of all parishnors.

Nov 2, feast of All Souls Day. There were three masses offered for the dead souls. After the second mass we visited the cemetery. Fr Lancy led the prayer and Fr William and Fr Basil assisted him. After the prayer we blessed the cemetery with Holy Water.

on 31st of October there was annual vehicle blessings at Immaculate Conception Church Kinnigoli. Fr William led the prayer and Fr Lancy and Fr. Basil D’mello assisted him. ICYM members of Kinnigoli unit and Vice president Shaila Sequeira helped for parking vehicles systamatically.

The funeral ceremony of Late Rev. Fr. Matthew Vas was held on October 23rd, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Church, Kinnigoli. The ceremony began at 8:30 am with a procession from Kinnigoli bus stand to the church accompanied by the priests, nuns and parishioners. Then the body was kept for the public, to pay the respect for the departed soul for more than an hour. Over 2500 people from across districts and all over Mangalore joined the family members along with more than 200 priests paid their last respects to the departed soul. Bishop of Mangalore- Most Rev Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Udupi- Most Rev. Dr. Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Shimoga- Most Rev Dr Francis serrao as well as along with the Bishop Emeritus of Mangalore – Most Rev Dr Alorysius Paul D’souza also paid their respects to the mortal remains. This was followed by the holy Eucharistic celebration solemnized by the Bishop of Mangalore Most Rev Dr Peter Paul Saldanha along with Most Rev. Dr. Gerald Isaac Lobo, Most Rev Dr Francis serrao, Emeritus Most Rev Dr Aloysius Paul D’souza, Rev Monsignor Maxim noronha, Vikar General of Mangalore, chancellor Fr. Victor george along with more than 200 priests celebrated the holy eucharist. Rev Fr. Ronald Serrao Rector of St. Joseph major seminary of mangalore close associate of Lt Fr Mathew Vas who broke the Word of God. The rich tribute was paid On behalf of the Mangalore diocese Rev. Fr. James Dsouza The vicar var of City Deanery. The Vice President of Pastoral Council of Kinnigoli parish Mrs. Shaila Sequiera paid rich tribute on behalf of the parish faithful, Bishop of Mangalore Rev Dr Peter Paul Saldanha who paid the tribute as well as thank the faithful. Convener of 21 commissions, Mr. Joseph quadras gave the vote of thanks to all the bishops, priests, religious sisters and all the faithful. Mr. Melwin Vas, brother of Lt. Fr. Mathew vas expressed gratitude to the Bishops, priests, religious and faithful. The mortal remains of the departed soul of Lt. Fr. Mathew vas was taken for the burial to the cemetery in the campus of the church, followed by repast.
