August 2, 2026Happy Feast Day to Our Priests – Celebrating Faith, Service, and Shepherds
Every parish feast is a joyful celebration of faith, community, and gratitude. On this special occasion, Immaculate Conception Church, Kinnigoli, extends heartfelt Feast Day greetings to our beloved priests, whose selfless dedication and spiritual leadership continue to inspire our parish family.
With the biblical message, "You are a Priest Forever" (Psalm 110:4), we honor the sacred vocation of the priesthood and thank God for the gift of our clergy, who faithfully guide us in our spiritual journey.
Honouring Our Priests
On this Feast Day, we express our sincere appreciation and prayers for:
- Rev. Fr Joachim Fernandes – Vicar
- Rev. Fr. Lancy Dsouza – Assistant Vicar
- Rev. Fr. Lancy J. Saldanha – Principal
Through their commitment to celebrating the Holy Eucharist, administering the sacraments, nurturing faith, and serving the community with compassion, they embody Christ's love in our parish.
A Prayer of Gratitude
As we celebrate this blessed occasion, we thank God for the gift of our priests and pray that He continues to bless them with:
- Good health and happiness
- Wisdom and spiritual strength
- Courage to lead with compassion
- Abundant grace in their priestly ministry
- Many more years of faithful service to God's people
May the Holy Spirit continue to guide and strengthen them as they shepherd our parish with love and dedication.
A Celebration of Faith and Community
The Feast Day is not only a celebration of our patron saint but also a reminder of the unity that binds our parish together. It is a time for families, friends, and parishioners to come together in prayer, thanksgiving, and fellowship while expressing gratitude to those who dedicate their lives to serving God and His people.
On behalf of the Immaculate Conception Church, Kinnigoli, the Feast Greeting Committee, and all parish organizations, we extend our warmest wishes to our priests. May God bless them abundantly and continue to make them instruments of His peace, hope, and love.
Happy Feast Day! May this joyous celebration strengthen our faith, deepen our unity, and inspire us all to serve one another with love and humility.
