Maundy Thursday Celebrated in Kinnigoli Church

Palm Sunday commemorates the entrance of Christ into Jerusalem,during which Palm brance were placed in his path, before his arrest on Holy Thursday and his crucifixion on Good Friday. Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week, the Final Week of lent. In Kinnigoli Church Palms were blessed during the morning mass. Procession was taken from Church ground to church with palms. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Joackim Fernandes, Asst. Parish Priest Fr. Stevan Cutinho and Principal of St. Mary's Central School Fr. Lancy Saldanha were present.
