ORGANIZES SMART KID SHOW – 2014
Beautifully dressed smart kids entered St Mary’s Central School Campus on 8th November 2014. They were all eagerly waiting for their turn to perform on the dais at the Church Hall.
The M.C. Mrs Anitha commenced the show with an introduction at 9.00 a.m. followed by a prayer song by Primary students. Mrs Sushma welcomed one and all. Significance of the program was mentioned, Judges were introduced and the rules for evaluation to the judges were explained by the Principal. They were felicitated by the Correspondent. The Anchors Mrs Ranjita and Ms Deeksha indeed anchored the kids well, which enabled the kids, to perform their best.
It was indeed quite interesting to watch the participant kids from Nursery (around 2.6 to 4.6 years), LKG (around 3.6 to 4.6 years) and UKG (4.6 to 5.6 years) marching to the dais confidently, performing fashion round, answering questions on question round and then in their activity round choice either dancing, singing or giving a speech. The audience was entertained well by the kids for four hours.
Mr Naveen D’souza thanked all those who helped to make the day a successful one. The Correspondent Rev Fr Vincent Monteiro congratulated the kids for their performance and complemented the parents & staff who trained them. Finally at the most awaited moment Rev Fr Rayan Crasta came forward and announced the names of the prize winners and Rev Fr Vincent Monteiro carried on the valedictory function. The following bagged the prizes: NURSERY:1st-Rishal Fernandes, 2nd-Jadon Mathias, 3rd –Rishita; LKG:1st-Samanvi, 2nd-Stalin Abreo, 3rd -Neema Serrao; UKG: 1st-Sanvi, 2nd-Rakshith Serrao, 3rd -Riyona Fernandes
Consolation prizes were given to rest of the students. The program ended with a national anthem by 1.00 p.m.
