SCC Program in Kinnigoli Parish

A program on Service through Leadership was organized by Parish Small Christian Community Central Committee on the 28th of February 2016 at the church hall for the ward committee members. It began with a short prayer at 3.15 P.M where the Asst. Parish priest Fr. Ashok Rayon Crasta brought the holy Bible in procession with other committee members with flowers and lighted candles.After garlanding, the Bible was enthroned in a place of honour.
After the reading from the Bible by Mr. Vincent Mathias, the parish SCC central committee secretary Mrs. Sangeetha seraro welcomed the participants and especially the resource person of the day Rev. Fr.Walter Dsouza, the director of SCC, Diocese of Mangaluru..
This was followed by the speech by Rev. Walter Dsouza. By way of slide shows and in his very enlightened interaction he stressed on the principles of leadership and qualities of a good leader.
In between a interval tea, biscuits and cake was served.
Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Vincent Monteiro, Assistant Parish Priest Rev. Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta, Sr. Aruna B.S., Parish Council Vice President Mr. Vincent Vinod D’Souza, Secretary Mr Robert Lobo were also present.
Totally, 116 ward committee members actively participated in the program.
Mrs. Margaret Aranha, joint secretary, parish SCC central committee proposed vote of thanks and Mr. Michael pinto, coordinator compeered the programme.The whole program ended around 5.30 P.M .
