PADDY TRANSPLANTATION ā UNIQUE SERVICE ACTIVITY BY PERPETUAL SUCCOUR WARD

On the onset of monsoon, the agricultural activities are in full swing in and around Kinnigoli. The nature is at its best, covered with green, flowing rivulets, frogs and crickets joining the chorus.
In this midst, the Perpetual Succour Ward people undertook a unique service activity that of assisting the farming family of Mr. Paul and Lilly Mathias at Gurbettu, Kemral, in transplantation of paddy plants on 17 June, 2015. The couple was over joyed by the help rendered by the ward people and in return promised generous quantity of paddy (Nove) for the Monthi Fest on 8 September, 2015.
Mrs. Lilly Mathais thanked the Gurkarn Mrs. Malita Dā Souza and the team profusely and distributed various vegetable seeds to the ward people for growing vegetables in their kitchen gardens with tips for a bumper crop.
