WARD FEAST OF OUR LADY OF DOLOROUS

On September 18th, the ward members of Our Lady of Dolorous began their ward fest by taking active part in the Holy Eucharistic Liturgy at 7.00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, Kinnigoli Thanking for all the Graces that were showered upon them during the year.
At 10.00noon all the ward members gathered at Mrs. Marceline Menezes house for the celebration, joined by Very Rev.Fr. Vincent Monteiro, the Parish Priest, asst, parish priest Rev.Fr. George Crasta, Rev.Fr. Ashok Rayan Crasta, St. Mary’s Central School Principal Rev. Fr. Sunil Pinto, Parish Council Vice President Mr. Vincent D’Souza, SCC coordinator Mr. Michael Pinto, Mary vale Convent Superior Sr. Vitalis Lobo, Sr. Honora and Sr. Hope.
The programme began with a prayer song. Mr. Vincent Mathias Gurkar of the ward welcomed the guests and the ward members, a warm welcome was given by the kids of the ward through a song and dance. Mrs. Juliana pinto presented the ward report. Talented kids were honored; a skit based on the life of St. Theresa of Kolkatta was enacted by the ward members. All the Guests congratulated the ward members.
Mrs. Hilda D’Souza proposed the vote of thanks and the entire event was conducted by Mrs. Lavina Mendonca, the celebration concluded with a delicious meal blessed by Rev.Fr. Sunil Pinto.
